Flight Lieutenant Siddharth Yadav was martyred when a Jaguar fighter jet crashed close to Jamnagar, Gujarat. His tricolour-wrapped coffin was dropped at his ancestral village, the place his household and fiancée bid him a tearful farewell. His father, a former IAF officer, lit the funeral pyre with a coronary heart filled with satisfaction and ache.
