Matters.AI raises Rs 55 crore seed funding co-led by Kalaari Capital, Endiya Partners – The Economic Times

AI-native information safety firm Matters.AI on Wednesday introduced a Rs 55 crore seed funding which can be used to launch a brand new class of system, the AI Safety Engineer.

In contrast to conventional safety platforms that solely monitor or alert, the AI Safety Engineer is a self-learning system that understands how delicate information behaves, predicts misuse earlier than it occurs, and responds autonomously throughout Cloud, SaaS, Endpoints, and On-Prem environments, Matter.AI stated in a press release.

The most recent seed spherical was co-led by Kalaari Capital and Endiya Partners, with participation from Better Capital, Carya Venture Partners, and main cybersecurity angels, the corporate stated.

The sooner fund spherical of Rs 13 crore was led by Higher Capital and Carya Enterprise Companions, it added.

Funding will speed up R&D in predictive detection, increase go-to-market operations in India and the US, and strengthen engineering and buyer success groups serving regulated industries below the DPDP framework, the corporate stated.
