A medical gadget park would come up in an space of 350 acres alongside the Yamuna Expressway and simply 3.5 km away from the upcoming Noida Worldwide Airport at Jewar, officers stated on Monday.
Based on the detailed mission report (DPR), which has acquired an in-principle approval of the Uttar Pradesh authorities, the medical gadget park can be developed in two phases in Sector 28 of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Growth Authority (YEIDA).
The medical gadget park would concentrate on industrial improvement of CT scans, MRI and ventilators, YEIDA CEO Arun Vir Singh stated.
“Of the whole 350 acre land for the park, 200 acre can be used within the first part and 150 acre within the second part,” Mr Singh stated after the 72nd board assembly of the YEIDA.
He stated 41 proposals had been offered throughout the board assembly and Extra Chief Secretary (Industries), Uttar Pradesh, Arvind Kumar, who can be the chairman of YEIDA, presided over the assembly.
“The agendas included public welfare initiatives, monetary problems with YEIDA additionally. The primary agenda was dialogue on the medical gadget park. The Centre had given approval for establishing medical gadget parks to 4 states that are Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Tamil Nadu,” Mr Singh stated.
“For the medical gadget park in Uttar Pradesh, the land was chosen in Sector 28 of YEIDA. An in-principle approval for the detailed mission report (DPR) of the medical gadget park was granted on December 31 and the board has additionally authorised it now,” he advised reporters.
“The medical gadget park would concentrate on industrial improvement of CT scans, MRI, ventilators and appeal to associated large corporations and manufactures. We had been instructed to expedite land acquisition for the mission,” he stated.
The officer stated the placement of the medical gadget park may be very appropriate as it’s near highways and simply 3.5 km from the upcoming worldwide airport at Jewar.
