Rajashree Swain, a 26-year-old lady cricketer of Odisha, was discovered hanging from a tree inside a dense forest in Cuttack district on Friday, the police stated.
She was lacking since January 11.
Her scooter was discovered deserted close to the forest.
“A case of unnatural dying has been registered within the matter. We discovered her physique hanging from a tree in Gurudijhatia forest in Athagarh space. We are going to probe the dying from all angles,” Deputy Commissioner of Police Pinak Mishra stated.
The reason for Swain’s dying can be clear as soon as the autopsy report arrives, Mishra stated.
The cricketer from Puri district was right here to attend a coaching camp organised by the Odisha Cricket Affiliation for an upcoming national-level event in Puducherry.
