A 27-year-old lady was murdered allegedly by her boyfriend, who suspected she was in a relationship with one other man, within the early hours of Thursday right here in Mumbai, police stated.
The police cracked the homicide case inside 12 hours of the incident by arresting the accused, Akhilesh Pyarelal Gautam (24), from suburban Mankhurd within the afternoon, an official stated.
Gautam and the lady, Manisha Jaiswar (27), have been in a relationship and planning to get married in close to future, he stated.
Nevertheless, Gautam suspected his girlfriend was having an affair with one other man, the official stated.
He went to her residence in suburban Kandivali within the early hours of Thursday and after an argument, slit her throat. The lady was rushed to a hospital, the place she was declared useless earlier than admission, he stated.
She additionally had two main accidents on her head, following which a case of homicide was registered, the official stated.
The police fashioned three groups to research the case and began gathering details about the deceased, he stated.
