Munjya is hitting all the best notes on the field workplace. On day 10, the movie, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, minted ₹8.50 crore, in response to a Sacnilk report. With this, the comedy-drama crossed the ₹50 crore mark on the field workplace. Proper now, the full assortment stands at ₹53.80 crore. This film is the third instalment in producer Dinesh Vijan’s horror-comedy universe, following Stree and Bhediya. Munjya options Abhay Verma and Sharvari Wagh within the lead roles. The story revolves round Abhay’s character, Bittu, who visits his ancestral village and by chance releases a ghost named Munjya. The movie additionally options Mona Singh as Bittu’s mom, Pammi.
Just a few days in the past, Sharvari Wagh, who performs the function of Bela in Munjya, expressed gratitude for the love she has acquired because the movie’s launch. In an interview with the information company ANI, the actress mentioned, “The quantity of affection that I’ve acquired from the viewers, is one thing that I’ve been ready for a few years. I’m out of phrases to thank the viewers that they’re going to the theatres and giving immense like to the film. Once I noticed the film in theatres with my mom, she instructed me that she is pleased with me and people phrases mattered to me so much. I used to be overwhelmed on seeing the response of the viewers after watching the movie.”
For his NDTV review, movie critic Saibal Chatterjee gave Munjya 1.5 out of 5 stars. He wrote, “Munjya feels far longer than its two hours as a result of the mumbo-jumbo that it foists upon us provides means steadily to difficult-to-digest twaddle. It centres on a battle between a creature from the nether world and a teen who has nightmares that he can’t wrap his head round. Folks assume he’s on medication. He has a tough disavowing them of the suspicion.”
Launched on June 7, Munjya has been backed by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik’s Maddock Movies.
