A Madhya Pradesh Police constable has been suspended for refusing to chop his hair and trim his “absurd” and “ugly” moustache.
Constable Rakesh Rana, posted as a driver within the state police’s transport wing, had been instructed to trim his moustache however didn’t comply with the order.

Prashant Sharma, the Assistant Inspector-Normal, who issued the order, informed information company PTI Mr Rana had been suspended as a result of he didn’t comply with a senior officer’s order about his look.
