NCLT clears Yatra Online’s amalgamation scheme involving six subsidiaries


Yatra Online Ltd on Friday introduced that Nationwide Firm Legislation Tribunal (NCLT), Mumbai Bench authorised its petition for amalgamation of its six wholly-owned subsidiaries.

Marking a big growth for the Indian travel-tech sector, this scheme includes the merger of the next six entities into Yatra On-line Restricted:

  • Yatra TG Stays Non-public Restricted
  • Yatra Lodge Options Non-public Restricted
  • Yatra for Enterprise Non-public Restricted
  • Yatra Company Lodge Options Non-public Restricted
  • Journey.Co.In Non-public Restricted
  • Yatra On-line Freight Companies Non-public Restricted

This transfer goals to streamline operations, remove duplication of efforts, and improve total effectivity throughout enterprise verticals.

In its order, the NCLT directed the amalgamating corporations and Yatra On-line to problem formal notices to a variety of regulatory our bodies, together with the Central Authorities, Reserve Bank of India, Securities and Trade Board of India (SEBI), Revenue Tax Authorities, Registrar of Firms, and the Competitors Fee of India, amongst others.
