Israel should cease bombing Gaza and killing civilians, French President Emmanuel Macron informed the BBC in an interview printed late on Friday.
Macron stated there was “no justification” for the bombing and saying a ceasefire would profit Israel.
He stated that France “clearly condemns” the “terrorist” actions of Hamas, however that whereas recognising Israel’s proper to guard itself, “we do urge them to cease this bombing” in Gaza.
