The Indian embassy in Romania on Tuesday mentioned that no visa is required for Indian college students sheltered in Bucharest to exit Bucharest by particular flights.
Taking to Twitter, the embassy has mentioned that it has getting queries from the scholars evacuated from Ukraine that they might not have the ability to depart after some days because of visa necessities.
“We’ve obtained queries from Indian college students evacuated from Ukraine and presently in shelters in Romania that they might not have the ability to depart after some days because of visa necessities. We need to guarantee that no visa is required to exit Romania by particular flights,” the embassy mentioned on Twitter.

In the meantime, the seventh flight carrying 182 Indian nationals stranded in Ukraine reached Mumbai from Romania’s Bucharest as a part of Operation Ganga on Tuesday.
Union Minister Narayan Rane obtained the evacuated Indian nationals on the Mumbai airport.
Earlier right now, Exterior Affairs Minister S Jaishankar mentioned that the eighth flight carrying 216 stranded Indian nationals has departed from Hungary’s capital Budapest for New Delhi whereas the ninth flight carrying 218 Indians took off from the Romanian capital Bucharest for New Delhi as a part of Operation Ganga.

In the meantime, Prime Minister Narendra Modi whereas presiding over a high-level assembly on Monday night over the Ukraine disaster mentioned that the complete authorities equipment is working around the clock to make sure that all stranded Indians in Ukraine are protected and safe, mentioned Ministry of Exterior Affairs spokesperson Arindam Bagchi.
This was the second high-level assembly chaired by the Prime Minister throughout the day over the prevailing scenario in Ukraine. Authorities sources on Monday mentioned that the ‘Particular Envoys’ together with Union Ministers Hardeep Singh Puri, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Kiren Rijiju and Gen (Retd) VK Singh might be travelling to neighbouring international locations of Ukraine to coordinate evacuations of stranded Indians amid ongoing Russian army operations in Ukraine.
