The buildings on the Mail are related collectively by a monumental two-level city plinth. This base incorporates a dual-aspect corridor and its massive bicycle storage space, creating a visible connection between the Mail and the center of the block. The colour of the facades outcomes from a collaboration with modern artist Morgane Tschiember and AkzoNobel factories across the idea of “pores and skin constructing.” The concept is to characterize the fusion of the long-lasting crimson brick of Saint-Ouen with the assorted tones of the pores and skin.
