Power-loomed rug manufacturer Oriental Weavers announced it will not be opening its Las Vegas showroom for the Aug. 30-Sept. 3 market.
“As the situation around the pandemic remains fluid, the safety, health and well-being of our Oriental Weavers’ family and our valued customers remains our number one priority,” said Jonathan Witt, president. “After missing the High Point show in April, our team was eager to get back to business in Las Vegas. We had high hopes that the situation would stabilize, but regretfully have made the decision not to open our Las Vegas showroom during the summer market.”
During the pandemic, Oriental Weavers launched its new 2020-2021 interactive e-Catalog and has established a library of digital brochures that include Indoor/Outdoor, Made in the USA, Trends, Value Series, and Designer Series and will be adding more in the weeks to come. Instead of traditional face-to-face market meetings, Oriental Weavers will be creating new digital sales tools to include new product videos that can be reviewed virtually with an OW Sales Representative.
“While we will miss seeing our customers and colleagues, we look forward to the day when we are able to meet and catch-up in-person,” said Witt.
In addition to the e-Catalog, the company also unveiled its 2020-2021 printed catalog.
The volume contains 550 pages of area rugs incorporating more than 100 new introductions debuting in the catalog for the first time. Rolled and layered collages introduce each collection as lifestyle photography, styled and detailed texture shots appear throughout the pages for added visual appeal.
Throughout the new catalog, navigation tabs along the right-hand side of the pages provide quick identification of new collections, line extensions, and made in the USA collections. The newly designed catalog features a section devoted to over 175 outdoor friendly rugs. Another new enhancement is the addition of runner photography to the popular rounds’ section to make it a one stop shop to view and select the perfect accent rug.
The new printed catalog is now available and shipping to retail partners. The e-Catalog can be digitally accessed at www.owrugs.com/catalog.
