Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a particular postage stamp and coin in the course of the centenary celebrations of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Wednesday (October 1, 2025).
Because the Chief Visitor on the Dr. Ambedkar Worldwide Centre in New Delhi, PM Modi hailed RSS for its “sacrifice, service, and self-discipline”.
“Since its founding, RSS has targeted on nation-building. Its wonderful 100-year journey a rare instance of sacrifice, selfless service, nation-building, and self-discipline. Our era of ‘swayamsevaks’ is lucky to witness centenary years of RSS,” mentioned PM Modi.

RSS, the ideological dad or mum of ruling BJP, is finishing its one hundredth 12 months on the day of Vijayadashami falling on October 2, 2025. Based in 1925 in Nagpur, Maharashtra, by Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, the RSS was established as a volunteer-based organisation with the objective of fostering cultural consciousness, self-discipline, service, and social accountability amongst residents.
Earlier on Sunday (September 28, 2025), whereas addressing the nation on Mann Ki Baat, PM Modi hailed the RSS for an “unprecedented and galvanizing” journey.
PM Modi, who had earlier been a part of the RSS, added that the Sangh was fashioned amid an identification disaster in India earlier than Independence.
