US President Joe Biden on Monday prolonged his deepest condolences to the households of the individuals who misplaced their lives in a bridge collapse in Gujarat’s Morbi metropolis.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has introduced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh from the Prime Minister’s Nationwide Aid Fund (PMNRF) for the following of kin of every of the deceased and Rs 50,000 to every of the injured.
The Gujarat authorities has introduced a compensation of Rs 4 lakh for the kin of the deceased and Rs 50,000 for the injured.
