Prime Minister Narendra Modi immediately congratulated Rajya Sabha member Harivansh Singh, who bought elected because the Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha, saying “excellent umpire who belongs to all sides of the aisle”.
“The respect I maintain for Harivansh ji, every member of the Home shares. He has earned this respect. His unbiased function within the Parliament strengthens our democracy,” PM Modi stated.
Hailing the MP from Bihar, he stated, “Harivansh Ji is a torchbearer of democracy, hailing from Bihar, a land recognized for its democratic ethos. It’s Bihar that has an in depth hyperlink with JP and Bapu’s Champaran Satyagraha”.
