PayU’s $4.7-billion Billdesk acquisition cleared by CCI after a year

The Competitors Fee of India (CCI) has cleared PayU’s $4.7 billion acquisition of on-line funds agency BillDesk, the antitrust regulator stated in a tweet on Monday night. This comes after a year-long await the Prosus-owned PayU which has needed to reply a number of questions from the regulator because the deal was formally introduced in August 2021.
