Perplexity debuts AI assistant on Android to challenge Alexa, ChatGPT


Synthetic intelligence startup Perplexity launched an agent-based assistant for Android units on Thursday because it seems to tackle bigger rival OpenAI’s ChatGPT and incumbent assistants comparable to Apple’s Siri and Amazon’s Alexa.
