Personal details of 1.29 million Limeroad customers up for sale on darkweb: Cyble


MUMBAI: Even as internet buyers swap from Chinese apps to Indian e-commerce apps, US-based cyber security firm Cyble reported that trend platform Limeroad’s customer database has suffered a breach with particulars of 1.29 million customers up on the market on the darkweb.

“As part of our regular deepweb and darkweb monitoring, we came across a threat actor who claimed to have around 1.29 million customer records of LimeRoad. The data seems to be legitimate,” mentioned Cyble.

The database leaked by a menace actor based on the agency consists of the complete names of customers, their telephone numbers and electronic mail ids. A pattern of the info has been reviewed by ET.
