Prime Minister Narendra Modi met U.S.-based chip maker Qualcomm President and CEO Cristiano R Amon and mentioned India’s strides in Synthetic Intelligence and innovation.
“It was an exquisite assembly with Mr. Cristiano R. Amon and discussing India’s strides in AI, innovation and skilling,” Modi stated in a publish on X.
“Nice to see Qualcomm’s dedication in direction of India’s semiconductor and AI missions. India presents unmatched expertise and scale to construct applied sciences that may form our collective future,” he stated.
Mr. Amon met the Prime Minister at his official residence on Friday (October 10).
“Thanks PM @narendramodi for the nice dialog on fostering a broader partnership between @Qualcomm and India in assist of the IndiaAI and India Semiconductor Missions, in addition to the transition to 6G,” Mr. Amon stated in a publish on X on Friday (October 10, 2025).
“We’re inspired by the alternatives to develop an Indian ecosystem throughout AI smartphones, PCs, sensible glasses, auto, industrial and extra,” the Qualcomm prime government stated.
