Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Ram Nath Kovind and several other different political leaders wished the folks of the nation on the auspicious event of Ganesh Chaturthi, which marks the delivery of Lord Ganesh.
Ganesh Chaturthi marks the start of the 10-day pageant when folks convey idols of the Lord to their houses and pray to him to finish all their troubles in life.
“Want you all a really completely happy Ganesh Chaturthi. Could this auspicious event convey happiness, peace, fortune and good well being to everybody. Ganpati Bappa Morya!” the Prime Minister tweeted in Hindi.

Celebrated in most components of India, Ganesh Chaturthi is marked with a number of pomp and fervour in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Karnataka, Odisha, Goa, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, and Uttar Pradesh. Often known as Vighnaharta, Lord Ganesh is often worshipped firstly of any puja or earlier than beginning any initiative.
