The development of a bridge connecting the Nehru Trophy Ward in Alappuzha municipality to the mainland (Punnamada) is making progress.
The bridge is being constructed at a value of ₹57.12 crore. Officers stated that piling and development of pile caps and piers for the bridge had been progressing. Up to now, 34 piles, 9 pile caps, and 14 piers have been accomplished.
As soon as accomplished, the bridge will finish the journey woes of residents in Nehru Trophy Ward and Naduthuruth in Kainakary grama panchayat.
P.P.
