Rajasthan BJP Leader Sparks Row With “Pakistani” Remark On Congress MLA


Jaipur:

Rajasthan Meeting witnessed uproar on Friday after BJP MLA Gopal Sharma calling Congress MLA Rafiq Khan a ‘Pakistani’.

In the course of the debate on UDH grant calls for within the Meeting, noisy scenes had been witnessed when Khan began criticising Sharma over his speech and allegations levelled at senior Congress leaders.

Mr Khan was evaluating the Congress and BJP rule on city improvement works.

Throughout this, the BJP MLA stood up and began saying ‘Pakistani-Pakistani’ to which Congress MLAs opposed strongly.

This led to an uproar within the Home. Chairperson Sandeep Sharma intervened and requested the members to calm down.

Mr Khan took a dig at Sharma saying that this was an MLA talking some time in the past. Throughout this, Mr Sharma stood up and began talking and later referred to as the Congress MLA a ‘Pakistani’ a number of occasions.

Mr Sharma had additionally handed remarks over Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge. When Congress MLAs objected to this, he apologised because the Chairperson objected that he can not identify anybody who shouldn’t be a member of the Home.

Mr Sharma later made allegations in opposition to different late Congress leaders after which apologized. Rafiq Khan took a dig at this, after which there was an uproar within the Meeting.
