Rakesh Tikait A “Dacoit”, Farmers’ Protest Getting Foreign Funds: BJP MP

Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh:

BJP MP from Bahraich Akshayvar Lal Gond has termed farm chief Rakesh Tikait a “dacoit” and alleged that the farmers’ agitation is receiving funds from overseas.

The farmers have been protesting at Delhi borders towards the three farm legal guidelines, which they worry will put off the minimal assist worth (MSP) system, leaving them on the mercy of massive firms.

Chatting with reporters in Bahraich on Sunday on the completion of BJP’s four-and-half-years of being in energy within the state, Mr Gond mentioned, “(Rakesh) Tikait is a dacoit. There isn’t a agitation by farmers. The protestors aren’t farmers, they’re folks from political events who’re motivated by “Sikhistan” and Pakistan.”

“Cash is coming from overseas international locations together with Canada. This cash is for terror funding and companies are probing it,” he added.

Mr Gond mentioned folks know the truth of the protesters.

“If the true farmers have been protesting, then there would have been a scarcity of meals gadgets. Greens, milk, foodgrains, and fruits wouldn’t have reached the markets,” he mentioned.
