Redmi Observe 12 collection has obtained community entry licence in China, as per a famous tipster. The smartphones have codenames L16 and L16U. The latter is alleged to be related to the Redmi Observe 12 Professional+ 5G. The smartphones belonging to the collection are stated to return with high-performance MediaTek SoCs — presumably MediaTek Dimensity 1300 or MediaTek Dimensity 8000 cellular platforms. The Redmi Observe 12 collection is a successor to the Redmi Observe 11 collection, and is tipped to launch within the second quarter of 2022.
Tipster Digital Chat Station has shared two photographs on Weibo which present two Xiaomi smartphones with mannequin numbers 22041216UC and 22041216C. He says that these telephones have been codenamed L16 and L16U, they usually belong to Redmi Observe 12 collection. He goes on to say that these telephones will likely be high-performance mid-range handsets. Whereas Digital Chat Station stated that the collection will launch in Q2 2022, tipster Abhishek Yadav has been extra particular and claimed that the Redmi telephones could debut in April or Could.

Citing Digital Chat Station, MySmartPrice reports that Redmi Observe 12 collection of smartphones will likely be powered by a high-performance MediaTek Dimensity 1300 or MediaTek Dimensity 8000 SoC. The telephones are additionally anticipated to have distinctive industrial model, robust efficiency, and prolonged battery life.
