Retaining walls will be constructed for tanks, says Lad

Labour Minister and Dharwad district in cost Santosh Lad has stated that as a precautionary measure, retaining partitions can be constructed for tanks which can be a supply of ingesting water in villages.

He stated a retaining wall would even be constructed for the Yarinarayanapur tank. Muzammil and Musheer, the twins of Sharifsab Chandhukhanvar, drowned within the village tank on June 19.

Mr. Lad handed over a cheque of ₹4 lakh from the Santosh Lad Basis and stated that he would personally request the Chief Minister for releasing compensation to the household from the CM’s aid fund.

The Minister was accompanied by MLA M.R. Patil, Deputy Commissioner Divya Prabhu G.R.J., ZP CEO Bhuvanesh Patil, and different officers.

Suspended

In the meantime, Panchayat Improvement Officer of Gudenakatti Gram Panchayat D.M. Kalwad has been suspended by Mr. Patil on the cost of dereliction of responsibility.
