“Rhea Chakraborty Should Be Freed Now”: Congress Leader Over AIIMS Report

A day after a panel of docs at AIIMS in Delhi dominated out homicide as the reason for Sushant Singh Rajput’s dying, Chief of the Congress in Lok Sabha, Adhir Choudhury, on Sunday demanded that the actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty be launched forthwith with out additional harassment.

Mr Choudhury, who had stated prior to now that Chakraborty was being “falsely implicated” following her arrest in reference to a drug probe linked to Mr Rajput’s dying, claimed on Twitter that she was a sufferer of a “political conspiracy”.

“Now the BJP propaganda equipment might accuse the forensic staff of AIIMS who has nullified the allegation that Rhea Chakroborty conspired to kill Sushsnt Singh Rajput, the state Congress chief tweeted.

“We’re all pained by the expiry of Sushant ji however he can’t be honoured by falsely implicating a woman as an accused, I’ve earlier stated that Rhea Chakroborty was an harmless girl, she needs to be launched with out additional harassment to her, she has been the sufferer of Political conspiracy (sic),” he added.

In its conclusive medico-legal opinion to the CBI, a six-member staff of forensic docs has dismissed theories of “poisoning and strangling” in Mr Rajput’s dying.

Ms Chakraborty was arrested on September 8 by the Narcotics Management Bureau.
