Rohit Pawar slams NCP as video shows Agriculture Minister playing game on phone in assembly

NCP (SP) MLA Rohit Pawar on Sunday (July 20, 2025) criticised the ruling NCP faction, saying it’s unable to operate with out consulting the BJP, by posting a purported video of Maharashtra Minister Manikrao Kokate enjoying a sport on his cell phone within the state meeting.

Mr. Pawar made the comment in a submit on X and shared a purported video of NCP chief and state Agriculture Minister Kokate enjoying a sport on his cell phone within the state legislative meeting.

“The ruling NCP faction is unable to operate with out consulting the BJP, which is why whilst there are a number of points associated to agriculture pending and eight farmers committing suicide every day within the state, the Agriculture Minister, who has no work, seems to have time to play rummy,” the NCP (SP) legislator wrote within the submit.
