SEBI Recovers Dues Worth Rs 6.57 Crore From Sahara Group Firms, Subrata Roy

Markets regulator Sebi on Tuesday stated it has recovered pending dues value Rs 6.57 crore from Sahara India Actual Property Company, its chief Subrata Roy, and others within the case pertaining to flouting norms in issuance of optionally totally convertible debentures.

“In view of the fee of the quantity of Rs 6.57 crore due beneath the certificates, the stated certificates is hereby accomplished,” the Securities and Change Board of India (Sebi) stated in its restoration order.

The quantity included curiosity and different costs.

The regulator in December ordered the attachment of financial institution and demat accounts of Sahara India Actual Property Company (now often called Sahara Commodity Providers Company), Subrata Roy, Ashok Roy Choudhary, Ravi Shanker Dubey and Vandana Bharrgava to get better Rs 6.42 crore for violating regulatory norms within the issuance of OFCDs (Optionally Totally Convertible Debentures). This quantity included curiosity, all prices, costs and bills.
