The primary batch of Covishield, the Serum Institute of India’s coronavirus vaccine, left Pune early this morning, 4 days forward of the nationwide inoculation drive in opposition to COVID-19.
Amid tight safety, three temperature-controlled vans rolled out of the Serum Institute gates with their treasured cargo shortly earlier than 5 am. The rollout of the vaccines has been scheduled for January 16.
