Some passengers onboard an Air India flight have been injured after the plane encountered extreme turbulence mid-air yesterday, officers have mentioned.
Sources say no critical accidents have been reported within the incident, and that the passengers have been medical help upon arrival on the Sydney airport.
No passenger was hospitalised, aviation regulator Directorate Normal of Civil Aviation (DGCA) mentioned.
“Seven passengers reported minor sprain. Cabin crew offered first support with the help of a physician and a nurse touring on the flight, utilizing an onboard first support equipment,” the information company PTI quoted an official as saying.
