Nationalist Congress Occasion (SP) chief Sharad Pawar has supported West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s assertion expressing her willingness to take cost of the INDIA bloc.
Speaking to reporters in Kolhapur on Saturday, Mr Pawar mentioned the Trinamool Congress chief is a succesful chief and has the best to indicate her intent to go the opposition alliance.
Earlier this week, Ms Banerjee mentioned she may handle the twin accountability of operating the opposition entrance whereas persevering with her position because the chief minister of West Bengal.
Her assertion comes at a time when broader tensions have emerged throughout the INDIA bloc as a consequence of dissatisfaction from numerous regional events and the current electoral setbacks for the Congress in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, and Maharashtra.
Requested about Ms Banerjee’s comment, Mr Pawar mentioned, “She is a succesful chief within the nation and has the best to say it. The MPs she has despatched to the Parliament are hardworking and conscious.”
