New Delhi:
Tejashwi Yadav, Bihar’s new deputy chief minister, immediately described Nitish Kumar’s return to the “socialist household” as a “slap within the face of the BJP”. He stated the BJP’s try and “intimidate or purchase out” regional events is geared toward “ending off the politics of backward courses and Dalits”, as a result of most such events characterize such sections of society.
The RJD chief was chatting with the media in Delhi after assembly Congress chief Sonia Gandhi. He met Left leaders Sitaram Yechury and D Raja earlier than that.
He cited household and ideological ties with Mr Kumar, who revived the JDU-RJD-Congress ‘Mahagathbandhan’ after dumping the BJP earlier this week.
“In Bihar, all events in opposition to the BJP are actually on the identical facet. Nitish-ji made the precise choice on the proper time. This can occur throughout India now,” he stated.
On questions on his promise of jobs, Mr Yadav stated it is good that — away from “communal politics of Hindu-Muslim divide” – the BJP is “lastly speaking about actual points”. “We’ve compelled them into addressing these points. We’ll maintain our promise. Simply wait a bit bit.”
