An Military soldier was killed after being kidnapped from his house in a village in Manipur. Sepoy Serto Thangthang Kom, who was on go away, was kidnapped from his house in Imphal West district on Saturday. His physique was discovered this morning.
He was kidnapped by unidentified armed males from his house round 10 AM yesterday. Based on his 10-year-old son, who was the one eyewitness to the crime, three males entered their house whereas his father and he have been engaged on the porch.
The boys positioned a pistol on Sepoy Kom’s head and compelled him right into a white car, his son instructed police.
His physique was discovered at Khuningthek village, east of Mongjam in Imphal East. His identification was confirmed by his brother and brother-in-law who stated the soldier had a single bullet wound on his head.
Sepoy Kom is survived by his spouse, daughter and son.
“We strongly condemn the killing of Sep Serto Thangthang Kom and stand by his household in these troublesome instances,” the Military stated in an announcement.
The final rites shall be performed as per the needs of the household, as per an official assertion. Military has rushed a staff to help the household in all manners potential, it stated.
