“Strictness Was Needed”: Haryana Chief Minister On Officer’s Remark


Chandigarh:

Haryana Chief Minister ML Khattar as we speak appeared to defend police motion on protesting farmers in Karnal, however admitted that the “alternative of phrases” by the IAS officer who made the “crack their heads” remark, was “not right”.

“Though the officer’s alternative of phrases was not right, strictness needed to be maintained to make sure legislation and order state of affairs there was saved below verify,” he mentioned at a press convention.

“If any motion must be taken (in opposition to the officer), it could first must be assessed by the district administration. The DGP can be wanting into it. To keep up legislation and order, strictness needed to be ensured,” he added.
