Subodh Kumar Jaiswal, the previous police chief of Maharashtra, has been appointed because the chief of the Central Bureau of Investigation for a two-year interval.

Mr Jaiswal is a 1985-batch IPS officer of Maharashtra cadre. He’s at present serving because the chief of the Central Industrial Safety Forces.
