After the Higher Home chairman suspended 12 of its members for ‘unruly’ behaviour, Rajya Sabha MP Chhaya Verma stated her suspension was unfair and unjust.
Congress chief Ms Verma stated the Centre solely prefers to take pleasure in a “brute majority” in Parliament.
Talking briefly to ANI, Ms Verma stated, “This suspension is solely unfair and unjust. There have been different members from different events who created a ruckus however the chairman suspended me. PM Modi is doing simply as he needs since he enjoys a brute majority.”
Rajya Sabha on the primary day of its enterprise for the Winter Session on Monday suspended 12 of its members for the remainder of the present session on account of ‘unruly and violent behaviour’ in the course of the Monsoon Session of Parliament.
The suspended MPs embrace six from Congress, two every from TMC and Shiv Sena and one every from CPM and CPI.
The motion has been taken in opposition to them for the ‘indiscipline’ within the monsoon session of the home.
The suspended MPs are Elamaram Kareem (CPM), Phulo Devi Netam, Chhaya Verma, R Bora, Rajamani Patel, Syed Nasir Hussain and Akhilesh Prasad Singh of the Congress, Binoy Viswam of CPI, Dola Sen and Shanta Chhetri of Trinamool Congress, Priyanka Chaturvedi and Anil Desai of Shiv Sena.
