As hundreds of thousands of taxpayers are busy submitting their annual revenue tax returns, they will now ship a suggestions on-line to the revenue tax division in case there’s any discrepancy of their transaction historical past, captured within the new e-filing portal.
The division on Monday mentioned that the transaction historical past captured within the new complete annual data assertion (AIS) has a facility for on-line suggestions.
“If the taxpayer feels that the knowledge is inaccurate, pertains to different individual/12 months, duplicate and so forth., a facility has been offered to submit on-line suggestions,” the division mentioned.
The brand new AIS may be accessed by clicking on the hyperlink ‘annual data assertion (AIS)’ below the ‘companies’ tab on the brand new e-filing portal.
