Terrorist killed in anti-terror operation in J&K’s Kulgam

A terrorist was killed in an ongoing anti-terror operation of safety forces in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday (August 2, 2025).

“Intermittent and intense fireplace combat continued via the night time. Alert troops responded with calibrated fireplace and tightened the nooze whereas sustaining contact. One terrorist has been neutralised by the safety forces thus far. Operation continues,” Military’s Chinar Corps stated in a publish on X.

Safety forces on Friday (August 1, 2025) night engaged a gaggle of hiding terrorists in a firefight within the jungles of south Kashmir’s Kulgam.

“An encounter has began at Akhal space of Kulgam (in south Kashmir). The police’s Particular Operations Group (SOG), Military and CRPF are on job,” a police spokesman stated.

That is the third encounter in J&Ok this week. Six terrorists have been left killed in these encounters, together with all of the three concerned within the Pahalgam terror assault.
