Home Lifestyle Recipes Thandai Phirni

Thandai Phirni

Phirni is a traditional North Indian dessert made with floor rice, slow-cooked in milk, and flavored with cardamom, saffron, and different fragrant components. Historically served chilled, Phirni has a easy, pudding-like texture that melts in your mouth. This model takes inspiration from Thandai, a spiced milk drink usually made throughout Holi, by including Thandai Masala, which consists of almonds, fennel seeds, rose, poppy seeds, black pepper, cardamom, and saffron. The end result? A refreshing, nutty, and floral-infused Phirni with a kick of spice, excellent for the festive season!
