The Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry (BCTNP) has constituted a particular committee to probe the incident of a lawyer having been allegedly assaulted and his two-wheeler broken by Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) staff exterior the Madras Excessive Courtroom premises on October 7.
In a launch, BCTNP chairman P.S. Amalraj stated the council had requested its co-chairpersons R. Arunachalam and D. Saravanan to conduct the inquiry and submit a report inside two weeks.
“It’s made clear that the workplace of the Bar Council shall present its fullest help to the committee for finishing the inquiry. Additional, in view of this, all of the members of the Bar and authorized fraternity are requested to chorus from abstaining the court docket proceedings or inflicting any hindrance to, or interference in, the administration of justice,” the discharge stated.
