A devastating automotive explosion claimed the lives of two younger siblings, Alfred Martin, 6, and Emily Martin, 4, within the district on Saturday. The siblings had suffered extreme burns within the blast on Friday night at Polpully, Chittur. They succumbed to their accidents at Jubilee Mission Medical School Hospital, Thrissur.
Their mom, Elsy Martin, 40, a nurse at Palana Hospital, Palakkad, and elder sister Aleena, 10, are nonetheless preventing for his or her lives in important care.
The household was rushed to the hospital after the explosion, which occurred when Elsy turned on the automotive’s ignition round 5 p.m. on Friday. The Maruti 800 automotive burst into flames, and native folks rescued the household and rushed them to the hospital.
