Two terrorists of the proscribed terror outfit Hizb-ul-Mujahideen (HM) have been killed in the course of the encounter with safety forces within the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, stated police.
Vijay Kumar, Inspector Normal of Police (IGP) Kashmir stated that the killed terrorists have been recognized as Junaid and Basit Bhat of the HM terror outfit.
The IGP Kashmir additional stated that terrorist Basit was concerned within the killing of BJP’s Sarpanch Ghulam Rasool Dar and his spouse, a Panch in 2021 in Anantnag.
The encounter broke out between safety forces and terrorists at Hangalgund within the Kokernag space of Anantnag on Thursday night.
