The United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Sunday prolonged the suspension of passenger flights from India until June 30 to fight the unfold of the coronavirus pandemic.

The ban was initially imposed on April 25, after a surge in COVID-19 circumstances in India.

In a press release posted on its web site on Sunday, Emirates, the flag provider of the UAE, mentioned, it has suspended passenger flights from India efficient April 24 till June 30.

“Moreover, passengers who’ve transited by India within the final 14 days won’t be accepted to journey from another level to the UAE,” it mentioned.

Nevertheless, “UAE nationals, holders of UAE Golden Visas and members of diplomatic missions who adjust to the revised revealed COVID-19 protocols might be exempt for journey,” the assertion mentioned.
