The BJP on Thursday took a dig at Rahul Gandhi, with varied union ministers tweeting a video from the Congress chief’s press convention through which senior occasion chief Jairam Ramesh is seen correcting him.
The 25-second-long video, reveals Mr Gandhi telling reporters, “Sadly, I’m a Member of Parliament”, after which Mr Ramesh leans over and advises the Congress chief that his remarks will be changed into a “joke”.
“Sadly, I’m a Member of Parliament – they will make a joke,” Mr Ramesh tells Mr Gandhi.
Rahul Gandhi then proceeds to corrects himself: “See, I need to make it clear, sadly for you, I’m a Member of Parliament.”
Commerce and Trade Minister Piyush Goyal tweeted the video, throwing shade at Mr Gandhi. “Sadly, we’re perplexed…” he wrote.

One other union minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, too tweeted the video, calling it “Really unlucky”.

The BJP’s Amit Malviya requested if Jairam Ramesh is the “official nanny of Rahul Gandhi.”
Mr Ramesh was fast to hit again with a jab of his personal. “We communicate freely to the media with out teleprompters,” he tweeted.
