West Bengal Assembly Election 2021: Actor Mithun Chakraborty’s Meet With BJP Leader Ahead Of PM Bengal Rally

Bharatiya Janata Social gathering (BJP) nationwide common secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya met actor Mithun Chakraborty in Kolkata on Saturday amid speculations that he could also be becoming a member of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Brigade rally in Kolkata.

The Central Observer of BJP for West Bengal, Mr Vijayvargiya met Mr Chakraborty on the latter’s residence in Belgachia.

On speculations of the actor becoming a member of BJP Mr Vijayvargiya had earlier mentioned, “I’ve spoken with him (Mithun Chakraborty) over the phone, he will come at present. I am going to have the ability to make a remark solely after an in depth dialogue with him.”

Mithun Chakraborty, 70, was a Rajya Sabha MP for the Trinamool Congress for 2 years, earlier than resigning.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to carry the first rally in West Bengal on March 7 after the announcement of the meeting ballot schedule. The rally shall be held on the Brigade Parade floor in Kolkata.
