Shahid Kapoor’s movie Jersey opened in theatres on Friday and on its launch day, the movie received an enormous shout out from Nani, who starred within the authentic rendition. He tweeted: “Watched Jersey and our Gowtam Tinnanuri once more hit it out of the park. What performances and coronary heart. Shahid Kapoor, Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapoor Sir and my boy Ronit. That is true good cinema. Congratulations.” Replying to Nani’s tweet, Shahid wrote: “Thanks. From one Arjun to a different. Huge love my pal. You might have a giant coronary heart and that is what Jersey is all about. Extra energy to you.”

In Jersey, Shahid Kapoor performs the function of a cricketer. The unique movie was made in Telugu and it starred Nani within the lead function. It obtained the Nationwide Movie Award for Finest Characteristic Movie in Telugu and the Nationwide Movie Award for Finest Modifying.
Jersey opened to largely mixed reviews from film critics. In his overview for NDTV, movie critic Saibal Chatterjee gave the movie 2.5 stars out of 5 and he wrote: “On the performing entrance, Shahid is the Man of the Match all proper. Shahid Kapoor, son of actors Pankaj Kapur and Neelima Azeem, is a star of critically acclaimed in addition to hit movies like Udta Punjab, Haider, Jab We Met, “Padmaavat”, Ishq Vishk and the 2019 hit Kabir Singh, co-starring Kiara Advani.
