A middle-aged girl police officer from Kalimpong, who was visiting town on official work, was discovered mendacity unconscious inside a room of a visitor home on Thursday and rushed to a hospital, the place docs declared her “introduced useless”.
A resident of Darjeeling, Bindu Lama Subba had checked-in at a visitor home in Kalighat space on Wednesday.
Her designation is but to be identified.

“She had come right here with different police personnel from Kalimpong; we had booked a room for her. This morning, she had ordered breakfast. When the waiter took the meals to her room, she was discovered mendacity unconscious. The lodge authorities knowledgeable us and we rushed her to the SSKM, the place she was declared introduced useless,” an officer at Kalighat Police Station stated.
Her physique has been despatched for autopsy and a probe has been initiated into the matter, he added.
