Yashwant Sinha is the mixed opposition’s presidential candidate

The opposition candidate for the presidential election, Yashwant Sinha, reached out to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday, looking for their help for the July 18 polls.
Mr Sinha additionally dialled Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and reminded him of the dedication that the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) had made when he was named the mixed opposition candidate for the presidential polls.

Mr Sinha, who was anticipated to launch his marketing campaign for the presidential election from his dwelling state Jharkhand on Friday, was compelled to delay it when it emerged that Mr Soren is leaning in favour of Ms Murmu, a fellow Santhal neighborhood member.
In the meantime, Mr Sinha wrote a letter to all of the opposition leaders who’ve chosen him as their widespread candidate for the July 18 polls.
