Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison on Monday expressed help to India after glacier burst left atleast 7 folks useless and over 170 lacking in Uttarakhand.
Taking to Twitter, Morrison stated that Austalia stands with ”one in all its closest mates at this very troublesome time”.
“Devastating information for India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi following flash flooding in Uttarakhand. Australia stands with one in all its closest mates at this very troublesome time,” he tweeted.
A glacier broke within the Tapovan-Reni space of Chamoli District of Uttarakhand on Sunday that triggered huge flooding in Dhauliganga and Alaknanda Rivers and broken homes and the close by Rishiganga energy undertaking.
Following the incident, leaders internationally together with French President Emmanuel Macron and Japanese Ambassador to India Satoshi Suzuki expressed condolences to the victims of the glacial burst.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has introduced a compensation of Rs 4 lakh every to the household of those that misplaced their lives because of the glacial burst.
“We’re assuming that round 125 individuals are lacking. The quantity might be greater,” Mr Rawat has stated. He added that the federal government has all of the wanted help to deal with the scenario for now.
