Positioned within the neighbourhood of Pagrati in central Athens, Moden Café occupies a ground-floor area inside a Nineteen Seventies constructing. Named after the unique pastry workshop only a few doorways down, the café pays homage to its roots whereas embracing a up to date design ethos.


The area has been created to rejoice the artistry of pastries and the ritual of espresso making. The design fosters heat and quietness, and tries to seamlessly mix the café to the neighbourhood. Bespoke components, crafted from scratch, contribute to create an inviting atmosphere for the guests.




The aesthetic is outlined by clear traces and impartial tones, making a monochromatic total ambiance. Textured flooring and partitions intention to recall the sense of dough and flour, brining heat and a way of familiarity to the inside.
